Concourse Media has officially boarded sales on Strobe, a psychological thriller that marks the feature directorial debut of Taylor Cohen. The film is set to be introduced to global buyers at the upcoming American Film Market in Los Angeles, positioning the project for international distribution.

The cast for the movie includes a diverse group of actors known for recent high-profile projects. Suzanna Son, recognized for her work in Red Rocket and Monster: The Ed Gein Story, leads the ensemble. She is joined by Chace Crawford from The Boys and Gossip Girl, Rohan Campbell from The Monkey, Laura Harrier from Spider-Man: Homecoming, Mena Suvari from American Beauty, and Grace Van Dien from Stranger Things.

Cohen, who previously built a reputation directing music videos for major artists such as Billie Eilish, Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, and Conan Gray, wrote and directed the film. This represents his first time helming a narrative feature after his established career in the music video industry.

The story is set within the pulsating underground electronic dance music scene. It follows a high school senior who becomes obsessed with tracking down a mysterious and elusive EDM artist. Her quest draws her deeper into a seductive world of nightlife and music, where appearances are often deceptive. The narrative explores the darker aspects of obsession, identity, and the allure of fame while blending psychological suspense with the hypnotic energy of electronic music culture.

Jack Sheehan, president of sales at Concourse Media, expressed enthusiasm for the project. He described Strobe as a bold and visually distinctive thriller that fits the company's portfolio. Sheehan noted that a new generation of filmmakers is redefining genre cinema, and he believes this film taps into that momentum by offering a visceral cinematic experience that aims to draw younger audiences back to theaters.

The production was led by Tara Razavi of Happy Place, along with Nate Matteson and Hiro Murai via Super Frog. Super Frog has credits on acclaimed television series including Atlanta, The Bear, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Happy Place financed the production with Clayton Moore serving as an executive producer. This marks the first feature film for the company.

The producers emphasized that Strobe is a passion project for the creative team. They described the story as resonant, touching on themes of fame, power, and hidden dangers that maintain cultural relevance. The team expressed their delight that Concourse Media would help steward the director's vision in finding the right audience for the film.

CAA represents the domestic rights for the project. The addition of Strobe expands Concourse Media's current slate. The company is also promoting Parish, which stars Nicolas Cage, Dane Dehaan, and Alexandra Shipp and recently wrapped production in Minnesota. Additionally, the firm is involved with Vision Board, a project starring Lucy Hale that is currently in pre-production.
