El Al has announced a summer schedule of 63 weekly flights to the Americas, with additional departures to Miami and Los Angeles among the planned services. Beginning in late March, the timetable will provide approximately 35,000 seats each week between Israel and destinations across the region, according to the airline.

The company described the planned operation as its largest summer schedule for the Americas. Across the full timetable, flights will serve seven airports in six metropolitan areas. The announcement covers services to the New York area, Miami, Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco and Buenos Aires.

The New York area will account for the largest share of the announced flights, with 36 weekly services divided between John F. Kennedy International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport. On some days, the schedule will include as many as seven flights to those two airports. Together, the New York services represent more than half of the weekly total.

Miami will receive two additional flights each week, taking its scheduled total to nine. Los Angeles will also have nine weekly flights after the addition of one service. The increases will leave the two destinations with equal weekly frequencies under the summer timetable, while Boston is scheduled to receive four services a week.

The remaining destinations in the announcement are San Francisco and Buenos Aires, Argentina. El Al plans three direct flights a week to San Francisco and two weekly flights to Buenos Aires, completing the airline’s announced roster of services to the Americas for the summer schedule.

El Al said the expansion was designed to respond to growing demand from business and leisure travelers. The airline also said it wanted to strengthen connections with Jewish and Israeli communities throughout the Americas, linking the increased schedule to its broader objectives in the region.

According to the company, every flight included in the announcement will offer economy, premium and business classes, along with its Dreamliner cabin experience. El Al also pointed to its partnership with Delta Air Lines as a source of onward connections for passengers.

Shlomi Zafrani, El Al’s vice president of commerce and sales, said the additions reflected continued investment in the American market. He described the expanded timetable as part of the company’s strategy to grow its operations and presence across the region.
