Harry Styles brought his record-setting 30-night residency at Madison Square Garden to a close over the weekend, marking the occasion with a pair of his recurring "Harryween" concerts. The singer, his band and much of the audience arrived in costume, with Styles appearing as a 1970s-era Elvis Presley on Friday night and as the notorious "Pizza Rat" on Saturday.

The dress-up theme extended well beyond the headliner on the first night. Styles' band took the stage wearing recreations of his own famous outfits, including looks from his Coachella, Met Gala and Grammy appearances. "The theme on stage tonight was favorite sequined king," he joked, later thanking the crowd for counting him among that company. For the encore, he turned back the clock further, emerging in his 2010 "X-Factor" audition outfit to sing Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely," the song that earned the then bakery worker a place in One Direction more than 15 years ago.

Saturday's finale was conceived as a full tribute to New York City. The band opened the night dressed as local icons, including the Statue of Liberty, Andy Warhol and Anna Wintour, before Styles appeared as "Pizza Rat," a nod to the 2015 viral meme of a large rat hauling a slice of pizza down the stairs of a city subway station. He also saluted the city's musical legacy with a cover of Talking Heads' "Psycho Killer" before returning to his standard setlist.

The evening's centerpiece came when Jalen Brunson, captain of the world champion New York Knicks, walked onstage to present Styles with a banner commemorating the record-breaking run. "I just wanted to appear and congratulate you on your 30th night," Brunson said. "A couple weeks ago, Harry was so kind to join me and my team on our banner night, and I thought I, on behalf of MSG and the Knicks, would do the same."

Across the nine-week residency, Styles' presence rippled through the city beyond the arena. Fans reported occasional sightings of him on the Williamsburg Bridge, and devotees organized their own events, including One Direction karaoke nights and a post-Harryween bar crawl. Tour sponsor American Express added to the footprint with pop-up shops across lower Manhattan throughout the nine-week stretch and, midway through the run, invited 10 randomly selected fans to hear "Together, Together" performed live for the first time.

As the final show wound down, Styles addressed the audience directly. "You've been wonderful tonight, you've been wonderful every night. Thank you for showing up, for dressing up, for making us feel so loved and being so wonderful to us," he said. "You've changed my life over and over again, and I get to remember every moment in here. I have loved it so much. Thank you for dancing with me. When I wrote this album, I wanted it to feel exactly like this."

The "Together, Together" tour now moves on to Australia later this month, where Styles will play his final shows of the year. The trek resumes in the United States in April 2027 and is scheduled to wrap up that August with three consecutive concerts at Wembley Stadium.
