A Bradenton man is in custody after Manatee County deputies seized narcotics valued at more than $150,000 from a home on the city's west side.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, detectives working undercover made several drug purchases from Miguel Aguilar-Hernandez, 27. The sales took place at a home in the 4900 block of 22nd Street West in Bradenton.

Following those purchases, detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence and carried it out on October 23. The sheriff's office said its SWAT team assisted detectives in entering the home.

Inside, deputies found Aguilar-Hernandez and a woman, along with the couple's baby. The Florida Department of Children and Families responded to the scene, and the baby was removed from the home.

The sheriff's office has not said whether the woman found in the home faces criminal charges or was arrested in connection with the raid.

Detectives reported finding several types of narcotics, three firearms and $3,366 in cash. The drugs included 1.75 pounds of cocaine, 15 pounds of marijuana, 362.9 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 187.4 grams of MDMA, also known as Ecstasy, 35.5 grams of Adderall, 19.3 grams of ketamine and 3.3 grams of oxycodone.

Aguilar-Hernandez was arrested and faces multiple charges stemming from both the undercover purchases and the search of the home. They include trafficking in cocaine, possession of marijuana and MDMA with intent to sell, and possession of controlled substances. He also faces multiple counts of selling cocaine and MDMA.

The details in this report come from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, which described the undercover investigation and the search warrant.
