Week 10 of the 2026 college football season arrives with six games on CBS Sports Network, a slate that opened with a midweek MAC contest and builds toward a four game Saturday lineup headlined by North Carolina's trip to UConn.

The action began Wednesday night, when Sacramento State, coming off its first win over an FBS program in conference play, could not sustain the momentum and fell 20-17 to Toledo. On Friday night at 9 p.m. Eastern, No. 22 New Mexico takes the field as a ranked team for the first time in program history, visiting Nevada in a Mountain West matchup.

Saturday's schedule opens at 12 p.m. Eastern with North Carolina facing UConn at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut. Bill Belichick's Tar Heels are favored by 7 points as they try to move past the disappointment of coming up just short of an upset of No. 1 Miami last week. Quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. is coming off his best performance as a Tar Heel against the Hurricanes, but consistency and limiting mistakes have been career long challenges, and the Huskies will hope to force miscues and steal a possession or two against a UNC defense that can be had.

At 3:30 p.m., Temple visits Navy at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland, in a meeting of 2-6 teams still clinging to hope of a late push toward bowl eligibility in the American. Both programs have lost four one-score games this season. Navy, a 7.5 point favorite, is coming off a loss to Notre Dame in which it led late in the second quarter before being shut out in the second half, while Temple's offense sputtered in a loss to ECU. With both defenses struggling at times, a high scoring, back-and-forth game is the expectation.

The evening window begins at 7 p.m. with Sam Houston traveling to Jacksonville State at AmFirst Stadium in Jacksonville, Alabama. The Bearkats just fired coach Phil Longo and are hoping the change sparks a second-half rebound, but the Gamecocks are 4-0 in Conference USA play, favored by 17.5 points, and on a collision course with Liberty for what would be their third consecutive appearance in the CUSA title game. Caden Creel does it all for Jacksonville State, throwing for 1,741 yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions this season while leading the team with 713 rushing yards and five scores on the ground.

The nightcap kicks off at 10:30 p.m. at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where UNLV hosts Wyoming in a matchup of 5-3 Mountain West teams. The Cowboys, 6 point underdogs, recovered from a dreadful start to win three straight games, including an impressive victory last week over an Air Force team that beat UNLV. The Rebels own wins over Cal and North Dakota State, but their loss to Air Force before a bye halted their momentum and underscored how unpredictable they have been from week to week.

All six games air on CBS Sports Network, with live streaming available on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App. All times are Eastern, and odds are via SportsLine consensus.
