The Kansas City Chiefs have signed kicker Justin Tucker to their practice squad, according to sources who spoke with NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter. Tucker, a five-time All-Pro, has not played in the NFL since 2024.

Tucker turns 37 next month. He sat out last season while serving a 10-game suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy.

The suspension followed a February 2025 report by The Baltimore Banner, which said 16 massage therapists from eight high-end spas and wellness centers in the Baltimore area had accused Tucker of sexual misconduct. The alleged incidents reportedly took place between 2012 and 2016, during his first five seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.

Tucker has repeatedly denied wrongdoing. He has called the allegations "unequivocally false" and described the Banner's report as "desperate tabloid fodder."

The Ravens released him in May 2025, ending a 13-year run in Baltimore that included seven Pro Bowl selections and a Super Bowl win in his rookie season. Two months later, the NFL suspended him for the first 10 games of the 2025 season. He served the entire suspension as a free agent and became eligible for reinstatement last November.

In Kansas City, Tucker is expected to serve as insurance for Harrison Butker, a fixture on the Chiefs' three Super Bowl championship teams. The 10-year veteran has struggled this season, missing five of 16 field goal attempts, including two in Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

A source told Rapoport that Tucker was one of three kickers who worked out for the Chiefs on Tuesday, along with Harrison Mevis and Ben Sauls. As of Wednesday morning, Butker was still the only kicker on the team's 53-man roster.

When the Ravens let him go, Tucker had three years left on a four-year, $22 million contract extension that made him the NFL's highest-paid kicker at the time. He was Baltimore's longest-tenured player and the last member of the team's 2012 Super Bowl roster still with the club.

His final season on the field was the worst of his career. Tucker missed 10 kicks in 2024, three more than in any earlier year, and his 73.3% field goal conversion rate (22 of 30) ranked 31st in the league.
