Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly entered the contest for Manchester United forward JJ Gabriel, according to Diario AS. The 16-year-old is described as unhappy at Old Trafford, and PSG are the latest club to show interest in him.
Real Madrid are still said to be the favorites to land the teenager. No final decision has been made on his future, and talks between his representatives and several European clubs are continuing.
United, meanwhile, are looking at changes to their defense in the coming transfer windows. Football Insider reports that the club want Everton center back Jarrad Branthwaite, 24, and count themselves among the frontrunners for his signature. Their interest dates back to 2024, when an offer worth £45 million was rejected by Everton.
Liverpool are also said to be interested in Branthwaite. Everton may be reluctant to sell to a local rival, which could complicate any move.
Brighton & Hove Albion believe Real Madrid hold no clause allowing them to sign midfielder Chema Andrés in the future, TEAMtalk reports. Madrid have recently been linked with the 21-year-old, who came through the club's youth system before spending a year at VfB Stuttgart. Brighton then signed him last summer for £15 million. Andrés has previously said that a return to the Bernabéu would be an "honor."
Chelsea and Manchester City are both reportedly interested in Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi. TEAMtalk says each club sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old on Sunday, when he scored a hat trick in a 3-2 league win over Sint-Truidense. The performance took him to 12 goals in 14 appearances in all competitions. City see him as a possible long-term replacement for Erling Haaland, while Chelsea want a backup option for João Pedro.
In Italy, Inter Milan are negotiating with wing back Federico Dimarco, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The sides have agreed on a two-year extension that would keep the 28-year-old at the San Siro until the summer of 2028. A gap remains over salary, as Inter are not currently willing to meet his demand of €7.5 million per season.
Other reports include Real Madrid examining Manchester City's Rayan Cherki and Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, and Chelsea viewing winger Estevao as a long-term part of their plans despite his frustration over limited playing time. Everton, Napoli and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly monitoring Marcus Rashford.
On the managerial front, Sky Sports reports that former Newcastle manager Eddie Howe would be open to discussing a return to management with Manchester United if the chance arose. The Telegraph says Crystal Palace have put former Nottingham Forest head coach Sean Dyche on their shortlist should they part ways with Pierre Sage.
