Two NFC East rivals in need of a turnaround meet on Monday night, when the Dallas Cowboys visit the Philadelphia Eagles. Both teams are 2-4, and both arrive on losing streaks. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

Dallas has dropped two straight, most recently a 23-13 loss at Green Bay. The Cowboys are 1-2 on the road this season. Philadelphia has lost four consecutive games, including a 25-14 defeat against Carolina in Week 6, and is 1-2 at home.

The Cowboys lead the all-time series 75-59, but the Eagles have won three of the last four meetings between the clubs.

Philadelphia will again be short-handed. Quarterback Jalen Hurts is out because of blood clots, and receiver DeVonta Smith is sidelined with a hamstring injury. Running back Saquon Barkley, who also has a hamstring issue, is listed as questionable but is expected to play.

With Hurts unavailable, backup Tanner McKee will start under center for the Eagles. In the loss to the Panthers, McKee completed 26 of 45 passes for 215 yards and one touchdown. Philadelphia has struggled to score this season, averaging 17.7 points per game, which is tied for 28th in the league.

Dallas has had its own offensive troubles. The Cowboys managed 16 points and then 13 points over the past two weeks. Quarterback Dak Prescott completed 34 of 54 passes for 258 yards and one touchdown against Green Bay, but he threw two interceptions. A third was wiped out by a penalty.

Oddsmakers list Dallas as a 4.5-point favorite, with the over/under for total points at 43.5. SportsLine's prediction model, which simulates each game 10,000 times, leans toward the Under. It projects 43 combined points and has the Under hitting in 52 percent of simulations.

History supports that lean. The Under has cashed in four of the last five meetings between these teams, including both games last season. It has also hit in each of Dallas's last two games and in three of Philadelphia's past four.
