The Pittsburgh Steelers followed their 27-6 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday with a series of dog-themed social media posts aimed at their AFC North rivals. The celebration was among several NFL Week 8 exchanges in which winning teams used references to their opponents' identities to mark the results.

Pittsburgh's defense helped set up the comfortable win, sacking Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson eight times and forcing two turnovers. The Steelers also finished with 200 rushing yards. Jaylen Warren accounted for 143 of those yards, while Rico Dowdle added 56 as Pittsburgh controlled the ground game against Cleveland.

The Browns' association with the Dawg Pound gave Pittsburgh material for its posts. One image showed a smiling dog in a car's reverse camera, with the Steelers suggesting the vehicle would back into it. Other images featured dogs dressed in Steelers gear. Pittsburgh also referenced the 2025 film "Sinners," adapting a scene in which Michael B. Jordan's character, Stack, enthusiastically responds to Sammie's guitar playing so that his reaction instead celebrated the final score.

The Buffalo Bills turned to a Baltimore food staple after a commanding home victory over the Ravens. Buffalo gained 426 yards to Baltimore's 144 and averaged 5.6 yards per play. Injuries during the game to Ravens quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley left third-string quarterback Joe Fagnano taking over early in the second quarter.

Fagnano's appearance could not produce a Baltimore win. Afterward, Buffalo marked the result with a post featuring Old Bay seasoning arranged to spell out a Bills victory message, using the seasoning's connection to Baltimore for its celebratory jab.

The Las Vegas Raiders also had reason to celebrate after ending a four-game losing streak with a road victory over the New York Jets in a high-scoring contest. Las Vegas pushed its advantage to five points with 27 seconds remaining, then secured the result by intercepting a pass from Jets quarterback Geno Smith. Its post replaced clearance for takeoff with clearance for victory.

In the matchup between Los Angeles' two NFL teams, the Rams overcame a 9-3 deficit with 1:55 remaining before halftime to beat the Chargers. They shut out the Chargers in the second half and intercepted Justin Herbert twice, turning both takeaways into points.

The Rams' post also drew on their opponent's identity. An image showed their mascot, Rampage, claiming a lightning bolt, accompanied by a caption invoking the idea that whoever finds something gets to keep it.
