The Minnesota Timberwolves, still unbeaten this season, travel to Cleveland on Monday night to face the Cavaliers. Tipoff at Rocket Arena is set for 7 p.m. ET.

Minnesota is 3-0 and has won both of its road games so far. On Sunday, the Timberwolves beat the Toronto Raptors 117-94. Last season they went 49-33 and placed third in the Northwest Division.

Cleveland is 1-1 and has won its only home game of the 2026-27 campaign. The Cavaliers edged Brooklyn 125-121 on Saturday. They finished second in the Central Division a year ago with a 52-30 record.

One question hanging over the matchup is the availability of Minnesota guard Anthony Edwards, who is listed as questionable because of knee injury management. Over three starts, Edwards is averaging 28.7 points, five rebounds, 3.3 assists and two steals in 31.3 minutes per game. Minnesota's scoring is spread widely, with six players averaging 12 or more points.

Cleveland is led by guard Donovan Mitchell. In two starts, Mitchell is averaging 27 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 steals and one block across 35.5 minutes.

The latest odds list the Cavaliers as 5.5-point favorites, with the over/under set at 231.5 points. The SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates each game 10,000 times, is picking the Over. It projects 236 combined points and says the Over hits 56% of the time.

Recent trends point the same direction. The Over has cashed in each of the last four meetings between the two teams. It has also hit in five of Minnesota's last eight games and in seven of Cleveland's last 10.

SportsLine says the model is 26-10 (72%) on its top-rated spread picks dating back to last season. It also says one side of the spread in this game hits more than 60% of the time in its simulations, though the source does not say which side.
